This gorgeous, multicoloured kilim was handwoven 80-90 years ago by a Bakhtiari weaver in Iran. Mixing earth tones and warm colours to create a smooth gradient across a rather geometric pattern for the time. This piece would make the perfect decorative runner for a hallway needing life.
Very floppy handle, and feels and handles like a blanket which this would have been originally woven as, so would need to be secured to the floor if used as a floor rug. Otherwise would be suitable for hanging on the wall, a table runner, or for the end of the bed.
