This rug is very interesting and tells a visual story about war. Made in Afghanistan, we can see objects of war such as tanks and helicopters, weaved together with a combination of cooler colours and earthy tones.

This rug would have been woven during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan during the period 1979-89, and today are collector's items.
