A very fine rug woven in a Caucasian design but made with wool and silk, and attributed to Sarakhs a northern Iranian city in the predominantly Kurdish Khorassan region and near the Turkoman border... we have many of these more modern finely woven rugs using tribal designs some attributed to the Kurdish city of Quchan in Khorrasan, Iran.
