A very special rug woven by a Qashqai or Luri weaver comissioned by the designer & producer Zollanvari in Iran.

Essentially Zollanvari commision rugs to be made in these designs having supplied a weaver with the loom and tools of the trade, and fine quality vegetable dyed wools. The resulting carpet is based on the 'gabbeh' style with a thick pile, but is much more finely woven than a gabbeh.
