Originally woven as horse blankets by Kurdish weavers in Khorassan province in Iran. These make great wall decorations.

These are very finely woven kilims. This piece has actually been woven recently, i.e. in last 10 years, but with old wool that would have been previously woven into jajim blanket kilims by nomadic kurdish weavers.
